Leased lines
Dedicated leased lines with guaranteed speed
A private fibre connection, symmetrical up and down, backed by a service-level agreement — for businesses that can't risk sharing bandwidth with the rest of the street.
What it is
Plain-English, no jargon
A leased line is a fibre connection that runs from the exchange to your premises and belongs to you alone — nobody else's traffic shares it, and nobody else's peak-time usage slows you down. Speed is symmetrical, so uploads are just as fast as downloads, which matters if you're backing up to the cloud, hosting your own services or running video calls across multiple sites. Every leased line comes with a service-level agreement guaranteeing uptime and fix times, with financial compensation if we fall short. It costs more than business broadband, but for businesses where downtime is expensive, the guarantee is the point.

| Dedicated fibre | Up to 10 Gbps | Data-heavy sites, HQ connections | Quote on request |
No hard prices here on purpose — every quote depends on your address and current setup. Bands are a guide only.
Leased line vs business broadband — what's the difference?
Business broadband is a fast, affordable connection — but it's contended, meaning you share capacity with other businesses nearby, and speed can dip at busy times. A leased line is a dedicated circuit that belongs to your business alone, with symmetrical upload and download speed and an SLA that guarantees uptime with compensation if it's breached. Most businesses start on broadband and move to a leased line once downtime or slow uploads start costing more than the line itself.

Our support promise
No call centres. No scripts. Just people who know your setup.
Every fault gets a real response within minutes, not a ticket number. If something needs an engineer on site, we're usually there the same or next working day — because we're based in Kent, not a national call centre.
“We moved our video production studio onto a leased line after render uploads to clients kept timing out on broadband. Upload speed alone was worth the switch.”

About this service
How long does a leased line take to install?
Typically 4–8 weeks depending on whether fibre already reaches your building. We'll give you a firm date once a survey confirms the route.
Why does a leased line cost more than broadband?
You're paying for a dedicated, uncontended circuit and a guaranteed SLA, not shared capacity. For businesses where downtime is expensive, that guarantee usually pays for itself.
What happens if the SLA is breached?
You receive service credits automatically if we miss the agreed uptime or fix-time targets — it's written into the contract, not a goodwill gesture.
Can I keep my existing broadband as a backup?
Yes, many customers keep a broadband line running as an automatic failover alongside their leased line.
Is a leased line the same as EFM?
EFM (Ethernet First Mile) is a lower-cost way to get leased-line-style guarantees over copper rather than fibre — a good stepping stone where fibre isn't available yet.
Do you support leased lines across multiple sites?
Yes — point-to-point and multi-site leased line networks are one of our most common installs for growing businesses.
