A single powerful router can cover a small flat, but it can't cover a building with multiple rooms, floors or thick walls — signal degrades with every obstacle it passes through, and one access point simply doesn't have the range. A proper business Wi-Fi setup uses several access points, positioned based on a survey of your actual site, working together as one seamless network. Get the placement wrong and you end up with dead spots and a network that "works most of the time" — which for card payments or video calls isn't good enough.
