FTTP vs FTTC vs ADSL — what's the difference?
FTTP (full fibre to the premises) runs fibre optic cable all the way to your building and offers the fastest, most reliable speeds — this is what we install wherever it's available. FTTC (fibre to the cabinet) uses fibre to the street cabinet and copper for the final stretch, which is faster than old ADSL but still speed-limited by that copper run. ADSL is the legacy copper-only service — slow, and increasingly hard to get support for as providers retire it. We'll always recommend FTTP first and only suggest FTTC as a stopgap while full fibre is being built out to your address.

Is full-fibre broadband available at my address?
Coverage is growing fast across Kent but isn't universal yet. Give us your postcode on the quote form and we'll check availability and, if FTTP isn't there yet, recommend the best alternative.
What speed does my business actually need?
For most offices under 10 people, 70–150 Mbps is comfortable. If you're running cloud backups, video conferencing across multiple rooms, or a busy till system, we'd usually recommend 300 Mbps or more — we'll size it during your quote call rather than guess.
Is there a contract, and how long is it?
Most business broadband runs on a 12 or 24-month term. Longer terms usually bring the monthly cost down — we'll show you both options.
Can you install a backup connection alongside my main line?
Yes — a 4G or 5G backup circuit can fail over automatically if your primary line drops, so your business stays online during an outage.
Do you support multiple sites on one account?
Yes, multi-site businesses get one account manager and one invoice across every location, even if each site has a different connection type.
How disruptive is the install?
Most FTTP installs take an engineer 2–3 hours and need a single small hole drilled for the fibre entry point. We'll agree a time that suits your business, not the other way round.
